The Elmseed Enterprise Fund’s mission is to create successful businesses in New Haven by providing start-up capital, business training, technical assistance, and a network of peer support. Elmseed is the oldest student run micro-finance firm in the nation and is staffed by a dedicated team of Yale undergraduate student volunteers.
We were asked to create an informational video explaining the services provided by Elmseed that would also highlight their connection with the New Haven community.
We interviewed members of the Elmseed staff to learn not only their duties within the firm, but to gain perspective on their personal relationship with the city of New Haven and it’s community.
